在产后数周内，女性就必须适应身体、心理以及社会等方面的改变，这一阶段为女性带来巨大的挑战，对产妇及其家庭健康有着极其重要的影响。针对这一问题，美国妇产科医师协会( The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists，ACOG) 于2016 年6 月首次发布了《优化产后护理》委员会意见( 以下简称“该意见”) 。该意见以产后访视为主要护理途径，涉及婴儿喂养、避孕方案、妊娠合并症、心理健康、产后并发症等方面的问题，第一次为妇幼保健工作者提供了全面的产后护理方案。我国各地区的产后保健工作参差不齐，部分地区仍存在拒绝产后访视等现象。在实际访视工作中存在访视时间短、访视人员业务素质不高和访视工作缺乏规范化管理等问题，不能很好地将母婴健康保障工作落到实处。该意见对规范我国的产后保健工作有较好的参考意义，现将该意见的主要建议解读如下。
