既往研究已探究了悠悠球式减肥的负面健康影响,近日,美国心脏协会的一项研究表明,悠悠球饮食可增加心脏病死亡的风险。

本研究中,研究人员利用一种动物的数学模型,如鸟类,知道什么时候食物丰富或稀缺,但不知道什么时候这种情况会发生变化。动物会通过储存能量和体重来应对食物短缺的问题。

模型表明,当食物短缺的时候,就像人阶段节食期,动物会增加体重来应对食物短缺。

令人惊讶的是,该模型预测,悠悠球式减肥者的平均体重会比那些从不节食的人群高。这是由于非节食者知道食物并不会短缺,所以机体对脂肪储存的需求下降。

此外,他们的模型还表明,继续这种节食则越有进食的欲望,而且这种欲望并不会随着体重的增加而消失,这是因为大脑认为机体未来会经历“饥荒期”。

该模型可以解释了许多人在日益严格限制饮食后反而体重不断增加的原因,因为这种节食只是提醒大脑必须储存脂肪。

那么,对于假期管不住嘴的人来说,最好的减肥是什么?

减肥最好的办法是要稳定,简而言之,就是实际摄入的量略小于应该摄入量。而且与低热量饮食相比,多进行体育锻炼更有助于保持一个健康的体重。

CDC为健康减肥提供了一些好的建议。因为1磅等于3500卡路里的热量,所以他们建议每天减少500-1000卡路里的热量,由此每周可减掉1-2磅。

一旦达到健康的体重,依靠健康的饮食,并尽量多花时间进行体力活动,可长期保持健康的体重。

即使是中等程度的体重减轻也有益于机体健康,如改善机体的血压、血胆固醇和血糖。
