大多数依赖于问卷调查或生物标记实验的不完整科学证据显示，心理学应激为牙周炎的一个风险因素。这篇研究的目的是在牙周健康和牙周病患者的唾液和血清中评估脑源性神经营养因子、p物质、血管活性肠肽(VIP)、神经肽y (NPY)、降钙素基因相关肽和肾上腺髓素以及皮质醇与不同方面压力的对应程度以及可能与临床指标的联系。

大多数依赖于问卷调查或生物标记实验的不完整科学证据显示，心理学应激为牙周炎的一个风险因素。这篇研究的目的是在牙周健康和牙周病患者的唾液和血清中评估脑源性神经营养因子、p物质、血管活性肠肽(VIP)、神经肽y (NPY)、降钙素基因相关肽和肾上腺髓素以及皮质醇与不同方面压力的对应程度以及可能与临床指标的联系。研究共纳入56名罹患侵袭性和慢性牙周炎的患者以及44名健康对照志愿者，并通过ELISA和质谱法检测和筛选唾液和血清中存在的神经肽和皮质醇。通过已验证过的问卷法评估心理学应激程度。检测所有研究内容以探索在牙周炎、临床指标和应激间可能的关系。结果显示，牙周炎患者唾液中VIP和NPY表达水平明显增高，而不是在血清中。这些神经肽与牙周炎患者探诊评分的程度、严重性和出血相关联。另外，心理学应激在受试者间不存在显著性差异。结论：在不考虑心理学应激的情况下，唾液中VIP和NPY可能是潜在的罹患牙周炎的性别特异性唾液生物标记物。原始出处：Haririan H， Andrukhov O， et al.
