　　糖尿病与肱动脉和中心血压升高以及主动脉硬化具有相关性。此项研究共纳入1533例经筛查临床诊断糖尿病的受试者。全科医生随机提供强化多因素治疗或常规治疗。平均随访6.2年后，利用压平眼压测定法对456例非选择性子样本患者进行中心血流动力学评估。中心血压由桡动脉脉搏波衍生得出。通过颈-股脉搏波速度（aPWV）评估主动脉硬化。对心率、年龄和性别进行校正后，利用混合效应模型分析干预对中心血流动力学各指数的影响。

　　结果显示，筛查时中位年龄为59.2岁；强化治疗组共纳入289例（63%）患者，其中278例（61%）为男性。强化治疗组患者的aPWV较常规治疗组降低0.51 m/s（P=0.03）。中心增大指数、脉压、收缩压和舒张压的回顾性差异不具有显著性。
