为什么美国年轻人越来越不愿意“啪啪啪”？

如今的年轻人发生性行为的频率位于1920年至今的相当长的时间段内的新低。这一结果可能与我们的直觉相违背，毕竟如今社交APP的流行使得年轻人接触性文化的门槛变得很低。

而事实上"Pokémon Go"这样的游戏竟然都比社交APP"Tinder"还要流行，而年轻人的怀孕比例也正在逐年降低。研究者们认为其中的原因可能有两个：接触成人影片的容易度的上升以及宅在家里的时间变长。

"这一代年轻人似乎对性关系并不感冒，直到20岁以后的年轻人中发生性行为的比例才有些许的上升"。

"从好的一面来看，这种趋势使得年轻人形成健康的性观念，直到他们准备好了之后才会发生对性关系，但代价是他们将放弃专属于年轻人的浪漫感情"。

该研究分析了26707名美国成年人，通过调查的方式询问了他们在18-24岁之间的曾经拥有的性伴侣数量。

结果显示，出生于90年代以后的人中从未有过性伴侣的比例是60后的2倍（15%-6%）。

"交友APP理论上能够帮助年轻人更加容易找到对象。但如果花费在虚拟世界中的时间过多，这些技术反而会产生负面的影响。发生性行为的比例降低就是其中之一。

有意思的是，在此之前（也就是从上世纪中期到90后成长起来这一时间段）年轻人约会发生性关系的比例仍在上升。因此，我们不得不回头看看上一次出现这一现象时的具体情况。

出生于20世纪早期的美国人"性无能"的比例有所上升，这可能源于当时婚姻政策的紧张，再加上一次世界大战以及流感病毒肆虐的影响。而如今这一情况的再次发生，原因却不得而知。

研究者们提出了许多可能的假设，包括年轻人自己的原因以及成长环境等等，但并不包括道德感的上升或宗教信仰的普及。事实上，这一代的年轻人信仰上帝的比例也在下降。

虽然这项研究不能告诉我们为什么年轻人把共度良宵的时间用来玩"口袋妖怪"，但考虑到仅仅69%的异性恋女性能够享受到性高潮，因此，解决这一问题也是刻不容缓的。
