研究实验室的三级指标与学科建设指标设置近似，分别采用了各医学院的国家中医临床研究基地数、国家中医药管理局中医药科研实验室数以及省部级实验室数

学术发表上采用了各中医院校年度期刊发布量数据作为三级指标。

科研成果采用的三级指标，是上一年度各中医院校在国家自然科学基金中获得资助的相关项目数。
