美国亚利桑那大学医学院的Shah TJ和犹他大学医学院眼科与视觉科学系的Moshirfar M近日在Ophthalmol Ther发表了一篇有趣的文章，他们针对眼保健专家，提出一种以证据为基础的方法，澄清某些药物是否应该用于磺胺类过敏患者。

他们使用PubMed进行文献检索，将已经确诊的磺胺过敏患者的眼科特异性药物进行综合分析。检索的关键词包括"sulfonamide"和"hypersensitivity"，专门针对眼科疾病的文章进行收集。有证据表明，患有磺胺类药物过敏的个体具有更高比率的过敏反应，但对磺酰胺非抗菌剂或硫基药物没有特异性。

综上而言，他们使用2017年眼科药物临床指南提供的简化流程，帮助忙碌的眼科医生确定对患有"磺胺过敏"的患者开处方时某种常见的眼科药物是否安全。
