Neurology：睡不着觉？可能是脑容量不够

近日，刊登在国际杂志Neurology上的一篇研究论文中，来自英国牛津大学的研究人员通过研究表示，睡眠困难或许和脑容量的快速下降比率直接相关。 睡眠被认为是大脑的管家，其可以帮助大脑进行修复及恢复大脑的功能，这项研究中，研究人员对147名年龄年龄在20至84岁间的个体进行研究，研究者检测了其睡眠困难和大脑容量的的关联，比如入睡困难或睡觉不安稳同脑容量的关系。 所有的参与者均进行了两次MRI大

近日，刊登在国际杂志Neurology上的一篇研究论文中，来自英国牛津大学的研究人员通过研究表示，睡眠困难或许和脑容量的快速下降比率直接相关。

睡眠被认为是大脑的管家，其可以帮助大脑进行修复及恢复大脑的功能，这项研究中，研究人员对147名年龄年龄在20至84岁间的个体进行研究，研究者检测了其睡眠困难和大脑容量的的关联，比如入睡困难或睡觉不安稳同脑容量的关系。

所有的参与者均进行了两次MRI大脑扫描，时间间隔为3.5年，在进行扫描前参与者完成了一份关于其睡眠习惯的调查问卷；结果显示，总共有35%的参与者遭遇了睡眠质量较差的问题，睡眠评估分只有8.5分，研究者的评估内容包括：个体睡多久？花多长时间能睡着？促进睡眠的药物的使用及其它因子等。

研究结果发现，睡眠困难和大脑容量的快速降低直接相关，而其相关性在60岁以上的老年人中尤为明显；最后研究者Claire E. Sexton表示，是否睡眠质量较差是大脑结构变化的原因或结果尚不清楚，目前针对睡眠问题有许多有效的疗法，未来研究者们还需要进行深入的研究来检测是否改善个体睡眠质量会减缓个体大脑脑容量减少的速度，如果行之有效，那么改善人们的睡眠习惯或许就可以有效改善个体的健康了
