此项研究共纳入9472例受试者，并进行了基线时认知横断面分析和前瞻性痴呆随访。利用新型高敏方法测定hs-cTnT，并利用DWRT、DSST和WFT评估认知功能。通过ICD-9确定痴呆。利用线性回归和Cox模型校正传统心血管危险因素。

结果显示，受试者平均年龄年龄为63岁，hs-cTnT ≥3 ng/L的患者为66%。在横断面分析中，hs-cTnT较高与DSST和WFT评分较低具有相关性，但与DWRT无关。中位随访13年后共出现455例痴呆住院。在前瞻性分析中，hs-cTnT基线浓度较高与痴呆住院和血管性痴呆风险升高具有相关性，但与阿尔茨海默病痴呆无关。

　　荷兰一项研究表明，术后心肌损伤为非心脏手术后30天死亡率的独立预测因子；肌钙蛋白监测有助于改善非心脏手术患者预后。论文于5月10日在线发表于《循环》（Circulation）。 　　此项观察性单中心队列研究共纳入2232例中、高危非心脏手术患者（年龄≥60岁）。在术后三天内测定肌钙蛋白。评估术后心肌损伤（肌钙蛋白I水平>0.06 mcg/L）与30天全因死亡率的相关性。
