MicroRNA（miRNA）是一类生物体内长度约22个左右核苷酸的小RNA，相关研究显示其广泛存在于多种体液中，且可稳定存在较长时间。miRNA在细胞内具有多种重要的调节作用，一个miRNA可以调节多个靶基因的表达，而几个miRNAs也可同时调节一个基因。

恶性肿瘤的发生发展过程非常复杂，常常涉及多个基因的表达异常，因此miRNA复杂调节网络的紊乱与细胞增殖和凋亡过程的调节失控可能存在一定关联。

为此我们利用芯片和 Solexa 测序技术筛选肿瘤相关miRNA，在血液中发现了一些与原发性肝癌、宫颈癌、肺癌等密切相关的miRNA，经Q-PCR方法临床验证，初步证明其具有一定辅助诊断价值，进一步研究可为恶性肿瘤的生物靶向治疗提供新的线索与靶点。
