Int J Nanomed：多功能嵌合肽修饰钛表面可有效防止生物膜形成

预防细菌定植仍然是口腔种植领域的主要挑战。具有结合，抗菌和成骨基序的嵌合肽可以为抑制钛（Ti）表面上的生物膜形成提供有希望的替代方案。 在该研究中，通过使用甘氨酸-甘氨酸-甘氨酸接头将来自人β-防御素-3的抗微生物序列与Ti结合序列和精氨酸-甘氨酸-天冬氨酸连接来设计嵌合肽。评估了与Ti底物的结合和对链球菌的抗菌特性。在存在或不存在唾液或血清的情况下，观察到细菌定殖到Ti表面上数量显著降低。

结果显示，三种肽功能基序保持其各自的功能，并且嵌合肽的抗生物膜机制是通过抑制sspA和sspB基因表达来实现的。

综上所述，这些结果表明，在Ti表面上工程化的内源肽片段可以提供更好的方法来改善口腔植体的生物相容性。
