此项研究共纳入10004例因新发病变成功置入冠脉支架并在6～8个月后接受常规对照造影的患者，并以随访造影时节段区域内直径狭窄≥50%定义再狭窄。主要转归为4年死亡率。评估再再狭窄对4年死亡的影响。

结果显示，2643例(26.4%)患者存在再狭窄。随访期间共有702例患者死亡，其中伴和未伴再狭窄死亡患者分别为218和484例(未校正危险比[HR] 1.19;P=0.03)。利用Cox比例风险模型对其他变量进行校正之后，再狭窄为4年死亡的独立预测因素(HR 1.23)，其他预测因素包括年龄、糖尿病、当前吸烟和左室射血分数。
