本研究的目的是确定：（1）观察者对头部解剖学基准的感知是否随时间而变化，（2）不同观察者的解剖学基准是否一致。

本研究的目的是确定：（1）观察者对头部解剖学基准的感知是否随时间而变化，（2）不同观察者的解剖学基准是否一致。

为了确定解剖学基准的感知是否随时间的变化（观察者之间比较），一组30名观察者被要求在两个不同的场合将一个正常人的三维（3D）头部照片定位到解剖学对齐。为了确定不同的观察者是否与正确的解剖学基准一致（观察者之间比较），比较观察到的方向。观察者间比较的结果显示了第一和第二解剖学基准之间很大的变异性。 Bland-Altman对于高点，偏移和滚转的重复性系数分别为6.9°，4.4°和2.4°。观察者之间的比较结果表明，滚转一致性良好（样本方差为0.4，标准差（SD）为0.7°），偏移一致性中等（样本方差2.0，标准差为1.4°），高点一致性差（样本方差15.5，SD 3.9°）。总之，正确的解剖学基准的感知随着时间的推移有很大的变化。不同的观察者有不同的解剖学基准。
