　　美国学者的一项研究表明，双激素仿生学内分泌胰腺可实现优异的血糖控制，并且低血糖发生率极低。论文于2012年8月24日在线发表于《糖尿病护理》（Diabetes Care）杂志。 　　此项研究共纳入6例无内源性胰岛素分泌的1型糖尿病患者。利用仿生学内分泌胰腺管理血糖，可通过胰岛素泵控制胰岛素和胰高血糖素的皮下释放。在各餐开始时注射膳食引发胰岛素。通过静脉血参照质量测定评估血糖控制。

　　此项研究共纳入6例无内源性胰岛素分泌的1型糖尿病患者。利用仿生学内分泌胰腺管理血糖，可通过胰岛素泵控制胰岛素和胰高血糖素的皮下释放。在各餐开始时注射膳食引发胰岛素。通过静脉血参照质量测定评估血糖控制。

　　结果显示，总体平均血糖为158 mg/dl，68%的血糖值介于70～180 mg/dl之间。高、低剂量膳食引发胰岛素应用在平均血糖方面无显著差异。低血糖罕见；576小时闭环控制期间发生8例。在192小时夜间控制期间，平均血糖为123 mg/dl，93%的血糖值介于70～180 mg/dl之间，并且仅出现1例轻度低血糖。
