    美国学者的一项研究表明，即便在启动降压治疗后，系列尿白蛋白分泌（UAE）测定仍具有预后价值，并且独立于传统心血管危险因素。论文于2012年3月22日在线发表于《美国心脏病学会杂志》（Am J Cardiol. 2012 Mar 20.）。   　　在2型糖尿病患者中，微量蛋白尿是肾脏和心血管疾病不良转归的显著预测因素。尽管测定UAE受到广泛推荐，但提示降低UAE可转化为远期心血管死亡率降低的资料却较为匮乏。此项研究共纳入393例伴有高血压和2型糖尿病的患者，并对1年时UAE变化是否与心血管死亡相关进行了评估。   　　结果显示，在单变量分析中，心血管疾病病史、年龄、糖尿病持续时间和1年时UAE变化与心血管死亡风险相关。在纳入基线UAE和心血管疾病病史的逐步Cox回归模型中，1年时UAE降低2对数值患者的10年预测死亡率未4.7%；1年时UAE升高2对数值者为24.5%。
