新的血液检测方法能快速检测血液感染类型

美国食品和药物管理局 (FDA) 批准 Pheno Test BC Kit (血液感染加速诊断) 上市。Pheno Test BC Kit 能快速识别导致血液感染病原体以及能有效抑制病原体的抗生素类型。如果能够更快地得到测试结果,临床医生可以更早地对血液感染进行治疗,可以有效避免致命的感染性休克等并发症。通过传统的测试方式来辨别血液感染及其对抗生素的敏感性可能需要 24 至 48 小时。相比之下,

如果能够更快地得到测试结果,临床医生可以更早地对血液感染进行治疗,可以有效避免致命的感染性休克等并发症。

通过传统的测试方式来辨别血液感染及其对抗生素的敏感性可能需要 24 至 48 小时。相比之下,PhenoTest BC Kit 的检测方法,可以在约 90 分钟内从阳性血培养中识别 4 个不同种类的细菌或两种类型的酵母。该试验还检测两个抗生素耐药性指标。

此次 FDA 为 Pheno Test BC Kit 开绿灯,主要是基于 1850 例阳性血培养的临床研究结果。该测试能准确的识别血培养中的细菌或酵母菌,当与传统方法比较式,其能准确的评估出抗生素的敏感性。

PhenoTest BC Kit 也会有误报的风险,所以还需要辅以其他实验室测试以便得到更准确的结果。
