Tomography：使用食糖来检测恶性肿瘤

Linda Knutsson正在与来自美国约翰霍普金斯大学的研究团队合作。该团队开发出一种新的核磁共振成像技术。合作研究已经结合新的成像技术进行了天然糖替代造影剂中金属的测试。

该领域还没有类似的临床研究。这是非合成造影剂首次被用于人类的核磁共振成像检查，结果是有希望的。根据Linda Knutsson和约翰霍普金斯大学团队的测试结果，肿瘤对糖的吸收高于健康组织。这些测试在3位脑瘤患者和4位健康人中进行。针对更多患者的更详细研究将很快在隆德大学开始。

"金属基造影剂比糖基造影剂的成本高。因此，这可能会减少医疗保健的费用"Linda Knutsson说道。

糖基造影剂的一个缺点是不能用于糖尿病患者的检查。
