此项研究共纳入7863例既往伴冠脉事件的稳定性冠心病患者，并测定其血浆Lp(a)浓度。对基线心血管疾病和其他危险因素进行校正之后，利用Cox比例风险模型评估Lp(a)对转归的预测价值。中位随访时间为6年。
　　 
结果显示，基线Lp(a)浓度与总冠心病事件（P<0.001）、总心血管疾病事件（P=0.002）和冠脉事件（P=0.03）具有相关性。Lp(a)浓度>73 mg/dL时风险最高。对于1年后相关事件而言，1年时 Lp(a)浓度升高与总冠心病事件和总心血管疾病事件的不良转归具有相关性（P=0.002）。
