据英国《卫报》网站3月9日报道，研究称，血液可以预测人是否会在接下来三年内患阿尔茨海默症(老年痴呆症AD)，其准确率高达90%。

研究人员发现，血液的变化有可能是老年痴呆症的早期反映。一项发表在《自然医学》杂志上的研究指出：血液中有10个分子可以用来预测人们是否会在近年内出现轻度认知障碍(MCI)或者老年痴呆症。

这是第一个能够在早期血液中发现患有老年痴呆症生物标志的研究，在此之前人们只能在症状更明显之后才会发现已经患病。研究人员说：这项发现可以帮助患有老年痴呆症的人在早期发现后及时进行治疗，使其减缓或者防止出现症状。

美国乔治敦大学医学中心的研究人员跟踪检测了525名70岁以上的健康受试者5年。在跟踪监测过程中，46位初期诊断为老年痴呆症的人中有28位有了明显的症状。研究过程中，研究人员分析了53名患者和53名认知正常的人。他们发现有10个分子似乎可以揭示有认知障碍或者老年痴呆症的人的神经细胞分裂。然后他们对其他参与者的血液进行检测，看看这些生物标志物是否可以预测这个病。准确率高达90%。

该研究的作者之一霍华德·费德罗夫教授说：“同时我们也设计了临床实验，我们将使用这个方法识别高危老年痴呆症患者，让他们提早服用治疗剂。”

英国老年痴呆症慈善研究中心研究主管西蒙·里德利博士说：“在老年痴呆症有失忆等明显症状出现前就会存在，但是检测出来是非常困难的一件事情。现在需要更多的案例来证实从血液中识别患有老年痴呆症的精准性，这将是一个真正的进步。”
