　日美三个研究小组2月12日在美国《自然·医学》杂志（网络版）同时发文，宣布已发现会引发肺腺癌的异常基因。据悉，在甲状腺癌等的治疗药物中，有些有望对该基因诱发的癌变具有抑制作用。 　　该异常基因名为“KIF5B-RET融合基因”，是由两个基因在某种原因下融合形成的。发表此结果的三个研究小组分别为：日本癌症研究会和自治医科大学小组、日本国立癌症研究中心小组、美国的研究所及名古屋市立大学小组。 　

　日美三个研究小组2月12日在美国《自然·医学》杂志（网络版）同时发文，宣布已发现会引发肺腺癌的异常基因。据悉，在甲状腺癌等的治疗药物中，有些有望对该基因诱发的癌变具有抑制作用。

　　该异常基因名为“KIF5B-RET融合基因”，是由两个基因在某种原因下融合形成的。发表此结果的三个研究小组分别为：日本癌症研究会和自治医科大学小组、日本国立癌症研究中心小组、美国的研究所及名古屋市立大学小组。

　　有分析认为，肺腺癌占肺癌总数的约7成。各小组对患者组织进行调查时，在1~2%的患者体内发现了该融合基因。通过白鼠细胞等试验，各小组发现了这种融合基因具有诱发癌症的特性，并确认甲状腺癌等的治疗药等可杀死由此产生的癌变细胞。
