据介绍，SmartMio是世界第一款联网&可穿戴运动肌肉刺激器。在使用SmartMio时候，您只需要将SmartMio贴在想要塑型的部位上即可。通过蓝牙4.0系统，您就可以用手机操控SmartMio，实时查看每块肌肉的锻炼程度，以及查看当日锻炼的肌肉群组。为达到最佳效果，建议您每周使用2~3次，每次12~45分钟。您也可以同时佩戴两块SmartMio，这样您的锻炼课程可以酌情减半。

每次为SmartMio充满电不超过90分钟。您可用USB或电源适配器为SmartMio充电。每次充电可以保证正常使用情况下一周的使用。

设计师在讲解SmartMio的工作原理时说，它采用的原理是“欺骗”您的肌肉，模拟大脑给肌肉传递的电流信号，做出正在运动的“假象”以达成锻炼效果。您可以使用相应的手机App(目前可支持iOS和Android系统)来控制SmartMio(请注意该App为英文版本)，根据需要进行不同程度的刺激疗法。
