检测乳腺癌化疗扩散：前哨淋巴结活检

　　Boughey博士说，术前化疗可在一些患者中清除淋巴结肿瘤细胞浸润，此项研究意在评估前哨淋巴结活检是否能成功检测到化疗后淋巴结肿瘤残余。研究人员对756名前期接受化疗且淋巴结病理阳性的乳腺癌妇女进行研究，其中637名患者同时接受了前哨淋巴结活检和腋窝淋巴结清扫手术。前哨淋巴结活检正确检测了91%的患者是否有肿瘤浸润淋巴结，包括255名淋巴结病理阴性乳腺癌患者和326名淋巴结病理阳性乳腺癌患者。研究人员还发现在40%进行彻底淋巴结清扫手术的患者中，假阴性率为12.6%，当使用双示踪剂（蓝色染料和放射性标记胶体）追踪前哨淋巴结时假阴性率显著降低。Boughey博士指出，手术中的技术因素对帮助确定正确的分期，确定肿瘤可能已经扩散的距离很重要。
