2016年3月，《消化道》（Gut）和《内镜》（Endoscopy）杂志同时刊登了《英国胃肠病学会（BSG）和欧洲消化内镜学会（ESGE）：口服抗血小板药物或抗凝患者的消化内镜诊治指南》。与2011年版指南相比，新指南基于新型抗凝药物（包括直接口服抗凝药）的临床应用和研究进展，给出了内镜操作和患者危险度分层以及推荐意见。
