Transcription factors play important roles in oogenesis and folliculogenesis [1,2]. Numerous studies have emphasized the importance of ovarian-specific transcription factor genes during ovarian follicular development. However, non-ovarian-specific genes are also expressed during ovarian follicular development, and their potential functions in folliculogenesis, such as steroidogenesis, are not known [3-5].
