对于45岁以上人群,咖啡可显著降低中年人群的死亡风险

近日研究人员通过对20000名西班牙参与者的观察性研究得出结论:咖啡可减低45岁以上中年人群的死亡风险。该研究结果公布在2017年ESC大会上。

来自西班牙的心脏病专家Dr Adela Navarro称“咖啡是世界上最广泛的饮料之一,以前的研究表明,咖啡会增加全因死亡风险,但地中海地区国家除外。”

研究人员公布了中年地中海人群咖啡消费与全因死亡之间的关系,该研究从1999年开始,有超过22500名西班牙成人参与。参与者基线平均年龄37.7岁,基线时参与者首先完成饮食习惯调查,收集关于咖啡消费、生活方式、社会人口学特征以及健康状况信息。对所有参与者平均随访10年,记录参与者的死亡信息。

在10年的随访期间,共337名参与者死亡。研究发现,每天摄入至少4杯咖啡的参与者,相比于从不喝咖啡的参与者,其全因死亡率下降了64%(调整后HR, 0.36; 95% CI, 0.19–0.70)。每多喝2杯咖啡,参与者的全因死亡风险下降22% (调整后 HR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.66–0.92)。研究人员考察了性别、年龄或坚持地中海饮食对咖啡消费与死亡率之间的关系后认为咖啡消费与年龄之间相互作用显著,对于45岁以上人群,每天额外摄入2杯咖啡可降低30%的死亡风险 (调整后HR, 0.70; 95% CI, 0.58–0.85),但该现象对于青年人群效果不显著。

Dr Navarro 表示“对于45岁以上人群,咖啡可显著降低中年人群的死亡风险。”
