iBio ($IBIO)公司宣布，已完成其基于植物的H1N1流感病毒疫苗HAC1的I期临床试验。消息发布后，iBio ($IBIO)公司的股价上涨了21%。该I期研究由iBio ($IBIO)公司合作伙伴--美国Fraunhofer分子生物技术中心完成，研究的目的是评价疫苗的安全性，同时寻找该疫苗触发针对流感病毒免疫反应的线索。

研究表明，无论使用佐剂与否，该疫苗在低剂量和高剂量时均具有良好的安全性和耐受性。同时，疫苗也能有效地触发机体的免疫反应，在接受最高剂量疫苗（无佐剂）的个体中观察到了最佳的免疫反应，这与市售流感疫苗所触发的免疫反应相类似。

该疫苗的研究开发工作由美国国防部高级研究计划局（Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ，DARPA）提供资金支持。疫苗基于iBio公司的iBioLaunch平台，该平台利用植物生产工程蛋白。目前研究者正在分析数据并准备同行评审的稿件。（生物谷bioon.com）
