Clinical Nutrition:不同维生素暴露对于死亡风险的影响

一项发表于国际权威医学杂志的大型研究表明,服用维生素E死亡率增加4%,服用β胡萝卜素死亡率增加7%,服用维生素A死亡率增加16%。

据英国《每日邮报》报道,丹麦哥本哈根大学的研究人员表示,为了预防癌症及其他疾病,一些本来很健康的人坚持服用抗氧化剂,其中包括维生素A及维生素E等,这种行为实际上干预了人体自身的防御系统的正常功能,有可能会使人们早逝的风险增加16%。而《美国心脏病学会杂志》的研究表明,烟酸(维生素B3)和抗氧化剂(维生素A、维生素C和维生素E)可能会增加死亡风险。因此,多种维生素共同暴露的联合作用值得研究。本项研究旨在阐明维生素暴露与全因和特定原因死亡风险之间的关联。

 

研究人员前瞻性地评估了所有受试者血液中的六种维生素(A、D、E、C、B12 和 B9)的浓度与美国成年人全因和特定原因死亡风险之间的关联。使用 K均值聚类方法将参与者聚类为几种维生素共同暴露模式。Cox比例风险模型用于相关性的统计分析。

 

在 8295 名参与者的中位时间为 10.9 年的随访期间,共有1404人死亡。在多变量调整中,维生素 D 水平的增加与全因和特定原因死亡风险的降低有关。在所有研究的维生素(维生素 D 除外)和全因死亡风险之间观察到 J 形非线性暴露-反应关系。基于所研究的维生素产生了四种共同暴露模式,如下:所有维生素低水平暴露(第 1 类)、维生素 A/D 暴露(第 2 类)、水溶性维生素暴露(第 3 类)和所有维生素高水平暴露(集群 4)。与集群 1 中的参与者相比,集群 2 中的参与者的全因和癌症死亡风险较低。

这项研究的结果表明,高维生素D浓度水平与美国成年人的死亡风险降低有关。中等水平的维生素共同暴露有助于降低全因和癌症死亡风险。本项研究结果为探索多种维生素共同暴露对健康的影响提供了崭新的视角,但是需要进一步的研究来进一步揭示可能的维生素相互作用的潜在机制。
