这篇研究的目的是通过1种高敏感的数字流量表检测人工唾液对富含脱敏剂复合物磷酸盐(Teethmate desensitizer； TD)处理过的牙本质片通透性的影响。

研究随机分为4个组(n=10)，分别施以TD或去离子水(DW)，随后分别存储于人工唾液(AS)或DW中1天、1周和1个月。计算2 kPa压力下的流速以评估自基线处下降的百分率(PR%)。

结果显示，TD/AS组的PR%在1天和1周后显著降低，但TD/AS， TD/DW和DW/AS 1月组之间的PR%s没有明显差异。TD/AS组的SEM影像结果显示，牙本质表面的矿化沉积密集覆盖。人工唾液中的钙和磷酸盐离子能够渗透入牙本质小管中，并加速羟基磷灰石的沉积，进而促使通透性的降低。
