Nanoscale:单核细胞激活剂功能化氧化石墨烯可刺激骨形成

本研究中,我们应用氧化石墨烯(GO)的内在免疫特性,其具有公认的磷酸钙(CaP)在称为maGO-CaP(与CaP复合的单核细胞活化剂GO)的生物相容性纳米材料中的骨诱导能力。在单核细胞存在下,碱性磷酸酶活性和成骨标志物的表达增加。机制方面,我们检测到Wnt和BMP信号传导的上调,这是两种关键的成骨信号通路。免疫激活的作用通过生长抑制素M(一种由单核细胞产生的促成骨因子)的过量表达来证明。最后,我们测试了maGO-CaP在体内的促成骨作用。结果显示,注入小鼠胫骨的maGO-CaP增强了局部骨量和骨形成率。

总之,该研究结果表明,maGO-CaP可以激活单核细胞,从而在体外和体内增强骨生成。
