此外,研究人员还发现,正常健康小鼠对氧气饥饿的反应甚至比以前更为复杂。在前10分钟内,血压升高,心率升高,其后血压和心率降低至正常水平达36小时。暴露于低水平氧气后约48小时,血压和心率水平恢复正常。

发现HIF蛋白或其他参与对皮肤氧气饥饿反应的蛋白质的损失,在这一过程开始时间以及需要多长时间后,发现其发生了显着变化。
