ACS AMI:新型骨修复生物材料

记者从东华大学获悉,该校生物科学与技术研究所张彦中教授课题组利用电纺丝技术结合新型的形状记忆聚合物,研制出一种具有形状记忆效应的组织工程仿生支架。相关研究成果日前发表于《美国化学会—应用材料与界面》。美国化学会周刊《化学化工新闻》对此也进行了专门报道。

骨折是常见的骨科伤病,约有10%的伤者会因骨折愈合钢钉取出后在骨头上留下骨钉孔而有再骨折的危险。如何降低再骨折发生率,对骨的力学缺陷进行“补强”?


为此,张彦中课题组在2002年开始了骨修复生物材料的研究。该团队最新研制出的组织工程仿生支架不仅具有仿生天然骨纳米纤维的结构特点、促进骨细胞生长的成骨性能,而且能在体温作用下发生形状记忆恢复,紧密填充钉道缺损部位,降低骨折间隙。同时,该支架还有可生物降解的特性,能较好与原来的骨组织相容,不需要再次取出,可达到原位再生骨组织的目的。

张彦中表示,团队下一步将开展生物体内实验,进一步验证该新型骨植入支架在生物体内修复骨缺损的实际功效。据悉,目前该团队已经和浙江大学、上海市第一人民医院有关专家开展了深入合作。
