研究结果显示，与对照组(LDL-C < 2.6 mmol/L，且在Lp(a)的前1 / 5位)相比，多变量校正分析显示，仅针对较高LDL-C的首次入射AMI的OR（95％CI）为2.66（ 1.78–3.98）； Lp（a）的五分位数中单独较高Lp（a）的ORs（95％CI）为1.51（1.07-2.15），1.84（1.28-2.64），1.86（1.30-2.67）和2.66（1.88-3.76）； 较高的LDL-C和较高的Lp（a）的ORs（95％CI）分别为3.95（2.64-5.92），3.20（2.21-4.64），5.64（3.80-8.36）和7.48（4.90-11.44） 大于Lp（a）五分位数中两个人的风险之和。在Lp（a）的第4和第5五分位数，由于相互作用引起的相对过量风险分别为1.78（95％CI，0.12–3.44，P = 0.036）和3.01（0.58–5.44，P = 0.015），证实存在加性相互作用 在初始AMI的Lp（a）和LDL-C之间，进一步表明了在初始AMI时Lp(a)和LDL-C之间存在附加相互作用。

研究结果表明，在中国汉族人群中，首次发生的AMI， Lp（a）与LDL-C存在相互作用。同时暴露于升高的Lp（a）与升高的LDL-C引起的初始AMI的风险要远大于两者单独暴露的总和。
