去年，诺贝尔生理学或医学奖由美国科学家杰弗里·霍尔、迈克尔·罗斯巴什和迈克尔·扬获得，以表彰他们在研究生物钟运行的分子机制方面的成就。

瑞士科学家雅克·杜博歇、美国科学家约阿希姆·弗兰克以及英国科学家理查德·亨德森去年因在冷冻显微术领域作出的贡献荣获诺贝尔化学奖。

而2017年诺贝尔物理学奖授予美国科学家雷纳·韦斯、巴里·巴里什和基普·索恩，以表彰他们为“激光干涉引力波天文台”项目和发现引力波所作的贡献。
