来自德国亥姆霍兹联合会的研究人员从BABYDIET研究298名儿童的粪便样本中收集了早期肠道微生物,每3个月收集一次,持续3年。采用16s rRNA基因深度测序对微生物进行分析,并对22名后期发生胰岛细胞自身免疫现象(T1DM潜伏期指标)的儿童和匹配的对照者进行比较。

研究比较了细菌多样性、组成和丰度,并对变量如母乳喂养、固体食物和食用方法加以说明。细菌相互作用网络根据不同种类细菌丰度的正相关估算而来。

两组间细菌多样性、菌落组成和丰度没有区别。但是,在半年和2年时,当与对照组比较时,血清转化儿童肠道微生物群组成的细菌相互作用网络改变。

该项研究的共同作者Wolfgang Castell说道,“我们的研究发现表明,微生物群落对肠道环境改变的适应能力下降。同时,也有强烈的迹象表明,随着时间的推移,这些作用模式是不变的。”
