为加强与人体健康有关的病原微生物实验室生物安全管理，规范病原微生物实验活动、菌（毒）种和样本运输等行为，根据《中华人民共和国生物安全法》和《病原微生物实验室生物安全管理条例》的规定，国家卫健委在《人间传染的病原微生物名录》（卫科教发〔2006〕15号）的基础上，组织制定了《人间传染的病原微生物目录》。
