Astrobiology brings together research scientists from around the world to advance our understanding of life's origin, evolution, distribution, and destiny in the universe. Published in print and online, this international journal will provide a forum for those scientists who define the future of astrobiology. Its purview includes meteoritics, cosmochemistry, gravitational biology, planetary geology and habitability, exobiology, microbial paleobiology, ecogeology, origins of life, bioastronomy, and life detection and space exploration technology. Relevant papers from microbial ecology, genomics, computational biology, and proteomics will be included. The journal will contain original research papers and reviews and will be published in print and online.
