Guided by an international editorial board, this journal communicates the results of important experimental and theoretical studies at low - mainly liquid helium - temperatures. It offers key work in such areas as superconductivity, magnetism, lattice dynamics, quantum liquids and crystals, cryocrystals, low-dimensional and disordered systems, electronic properties of normal metals and alloys, critical phenomena. Includes original articles on new experimental and theoretical results, review articles, brief communications, memoirs, and biographies. The English and Russian versions are published simultaneously. Subject Coverage Includes: Mechanical, thermal, electrical, magnetic, and optical properties of crystals and other materials at low temperatures, phase transitions, liquid and solid helium, hydrogens, superfluidity, electronic transport and conduction at low temperatures; superconductivity, including high-Tc, quantum effects in semiconductors, ultralow-temperature techniques.
