由此可见，口服抗生素与肾结石发生率增加有关，近期接触和接触年龄较小与肾结石的可能性最大。这些结果对疾病发病机理以及肾结石发病率上升有影响，特别是在儿童中。

虽然肠道和尿微生物紊乱与肾结石有关，但抗生素是否是这种疾病的危险因素仍然未知的，近日，肾脏病领域权威杂志Journal of the American Society of Nephrology上针对这一问题发表一篇研究文章。

研究人员在基于人群的病例对照研究中明确了12类口服抗生素与肾结石之间的关联，该研究嵌套在英国1994至2015年期间超过1300万儿童和成人提供电子健康记录数据的641项常规实践。研究人员使用发病率密度抽样将25981例肾结石患者匹配年龄、性别和诊断日期一致的259797例对照者。条件logistic回归模型针对医疗保健、合并症、尿路感染以及使用噻嗪类和袢利尿剂、质子泵抑制剂和他汀类进行调整。

在诊断日期前3-12个月接触任何五种不同类别的抗生素与肾结石有关。调整后的比值比（95％可信区间）为2.33（2.19-2.48），头孢类抗生素为1.88（1.75-2.01）、氟喹诺酮类为1.67（1.54-1.81）、呋喃妥因/乌洛托品为1.70（1.55-1.88）、 广谱青霉素为1.27（1.18-1.36）。在探索性分析中，在较年轻的参与者中抗生素暴露后（P<0.001）和诊断日期前3-6个月（P<0.001），它们之间的相关性程度最大，除广谱青霉素之外，所有抗生素从暴露至3-5年后仍保持统计学显著性。

由此可见，口服抗生素与肾结石发生率增加有关，近期接触和接触年龄较小与肾结石的可能性最大。这些结果对疾病发病机理以及肾结石发病率上升有影响，特别是在儿童中。
