专注于开发细胞疗法的临床阶段生物技术公司Hope Biosciences近日宣布，FDA已批准I / II期临床试验，以评估自体脂肪来源的间充质干细胞（HB-adMSCs）治疗阿尔茨海默症的安全性和有效性。Hope Biosciences总裁兼首席执行官Donna Chang说道：“这项研究将利用我们的专有核心技术，以提供足量、纯净的间充质干细胞，该技术也消除了潜在的供体排斥和供体间差异”。

间充质干细胞是一种多能干细胞，它具有干细胞的所有共性，即自我更新和多向分化能力。在临床应用也最多，与造血干细胞联合应用，可以提高移植的成功率，加速造血重建。
