梅奥诊所的研究人员已经确定了促使癌细胞生长和转移的蛋白质之间的相互作用。研究人员表示这一发现有助于更好地了解各种恶性肿瘤是如何发展的,包括乳腺癌、前列腺癌、胰腺癌结肠癌肺癌和皮肤癌。他们的研究发表在《美国国家科学院院刊》上。

研究小组负责人称:“在我们的论文中,我们确认了粘附因子激酶和肌凝蛋白之间的直接交互作用,肌凝蛋白就是促进癌症发展的秘密蛋白。”

研究人员表示,癌细胞通过这些秘密蛋白质创建僵硬,不溶性支架,抑制抗肿瘤免疫并且支持肿瘤生长和转移。癌细胞的转移是最致病的一种情况,癌细胞从原发肿瘤出发,扩散转移到身体的其他器官。

“癌细胞对环境的适应能力非常强,达到新环境时,它们就会努力适应并且融入进去。而粘附因子激酶就提前为癌细胞提高了新环境的信息。”

研究人员继续解释道,肌凝蛋白的作用就像是一个马达,它把粘膜因子激酶从原子核转移到细胞膜。他说,一旦粘附因子激酶和肌凝蛋白相互作用,那么粘附因子激酶就会来回穿梭于细胞膜,通过基因转录,帮助细胞适应新环境。

“我们希望,通过研究报告中的数据机构,可以通过阻隔粘附因子激酶和肌凝蛋白相互作用,来抑制恶性肿瘤的转移和扩散。”此次研究以病人为研究中心,汇集了著名的内科医生,科学家和研究人员,为世界难题提供最新的技术和治疗指南。
