Forbius是一家开发用于治疗癌症和纤维化的生物制剂的临床公司，近日宣布与西奈山伊坎医学院和骨髓增生肿瘤研究联盟（MPN-RC）达成合作协议。此次合作将启动一项研究者启动的试验（IIT）以评估AVID200（一种高效的选择性TGF-β抑制剂）作为骨髓纤维化（MF）的治疗前景。第I/II阶段临床试验将由MPN-RC赞助，并获得NIH资助，预计将于2019年第一季度开始。

西奈山伊坎医学院MPN-RC创始人和骨髓增生性疾病研究项目主任Ronald Hoffman博士评论道：“我们已经证明，在临床前模型中阻断TGF-β信号转导可逆转骨髓纤维化并恢复造血功能。我们相信AVID200选择性TGF-β抑制可以解决骨髓衰竭的根本原因，并成为MF的疾病修复疗法”。

Forbius正在评估AVID200在I期试验中的免疫肿瘤学和抗纤维化作用，包括实体瘤和系统性硬化症。此外，Forbius正在扩展AVID200临床开发计划，通过提供药物，科学输入和进行转化研究的合作来支持IIT。
