Akisa制药公司近日宣布，来自III期APPROACH研究的最新结果显示，volanesorsen治疗乳糜微粒血症综合征（FCS）患者具有显著的有效性和安全性。FCS是一种极为罕见的使人衰弱的疾病，它是由脂蛋白脂肪酶（LPL）的生成或功能受损引起的，脂蛋白脂肪酶（LPL）负责分解乳糜微粒（富含甘油三酯的脂蛋白）。FCS能够导致显著的风险和疾病负担，包括不可预测的和致命的急性胰腺炎以及永久性器官损伤。volanesorsen旨在减少载脂蛋白C-III（apoC-III）的产生，调节血浆甘油三酯水平。
