研究对象为参与300例肥胖研究的285名超重个体(BMI >27 kg/m2)的样本(作为人类功能遗传学项目的一部分,这是一项观察性横断面队列研究),对血清Mg2+与实验室变量之间的关系,包括广泛的脂质分布进行了研究。在另一组研究中,通过口服脂质负荷在小鼠和健康人体内诱发高脂血症,并使用比色法测定血液Mg2+、三酰甘油和NEFA浓度。在体外,将从白蛋白中提取的NEFAs浓度增加到几种含Mg2+的溶液中,研究Mg2+NEFAs的直接相互作用。

结果显示,在超重人群中,血清Mg2+水平与大VLDL颗粒中含有的三酰甘油呈负相关(r = - 0.159, p≤0.01)。脂质负荷后,在小鼠等离子Mg2 + 0.31−更易/ l 4 h后口服填喂法)和健康人群等离子Mg2 +−0.07更易在6 h / l post脂质摄取),我们观察到餐后血浆三酰甘油增加以及NEFA水平血液Mg2 +浓度降低。此外,体外实验表明,Mg2+NEFAs的直接结合可能是导致血浆Mg2+下降的原因。此外,Mg2+被发现以nefa依赖的方式与白蛋白结合,证明Mg2+不与无脂酸的白蛋白结合。游离Mg2+浓度的nefa依赖性降低不受其他阳离子生理浓度的影响。

这项研究表明,NEFA和三酰甘油水平的升高直接降低了血液中Mg2+的水平,这在一定程度上解释了低镁血症在代谢紊乱中的高患病率。我们发现血NEFA水平影响游离Mg2+浓度,因此,我们的数据对于如何在临床计算和解释Mg2+是一项挑战。
