近日,来自瑞典卡罗林斯卡学院的研究人员发文报导,VEGFR1在调节脂肪血管生成,肥胖,和整体代谢中的生理功能。对内皮细胞VEGFR1的药理学抑制,或遗传敲除,能够增加脂肪血管的生成,促进皮下白色脂肪组织的褐变,导致产热升高。

在饮食诱导的肥胖模型中,内皮VEGFR1的缺失可以改善整体代谢,从而表现出有效的抗肥胖作用。伴随着代谢改变,脂肪肝和胰岛素敏感性也在VEGFR1缺陷的高脂饮食(HFD)饲养的小鼠中有了显着的改善。

因此,研究人员的数据表明,靶向VEGFR1为治疗肥胖和代谢性疾病(如肝脂肪变性和2糖尿病)提供了值得期待的新机会。
