9月9日，在意大利罗马召开的第15届世界神经外科学会联盟会议授予中国工程院院士、复旦大学附属华山医院神经外科主任周良辅该联盟荣誉奖章。该联盟成立于1955年，由5个大陆协会、114个全国神经外科学会联合会和5个附属协会组成，拥有全球约3万名神经外科医师。每4年表彰6位著名神经外科医师。
