预防糖尿病从吃天然食物开始

去年,DiNicolantonio博士在Open Heart杂志发表了另外一篇文章讲述了食用过多的糖类会引起高血压,因而呼吁我们应该将防范高血压的方向从盐到糖转变。然而,是否真如DiNicolantonio博士提到的那样,是由于食用糖中的果糖成分引起了2型糖尿病目前还不清楚。
 
现代人的日常食用糖量始终处于比较高的水平。然而,大家对添加糖类成分的属性以及在体内的代谢情况仍不太了解。从甘蔗或甜菜中提炼出的主要糖分为蔗糖,由50%的葡萄糖与50%的果糖组成。从玉米汁中提炼出的糖浆主要作为啤酒的增甜剂使用,这种糖浆中也含有相当的葡萄糖与果糖。然而,蔗糖中的葡萄糖与果糖是由化学键相连接,而玉米糖浆中的葡萄糖与蔗糖则是相互分离的。不过在体内蔗糖会被快速消化形成葡萄糖与蔗糖。目前发现蔗糖与葡萄糖浆均能影响体内的胰岛素水平,然而真正的原因尚在讨论之中。
 
在DiNicolantonio博士最新的这篇综述中,他们报道了一项关于糖类与糖尿病关系的研究(PLoS One. 2013;8:e57873).这篇文章发现,在日卡路里摄入量均为110千卡的人群中,糖摄入量高的群体患糖尿病的风险是另外群体的11倍。这一结果也被其它一些研究证实。另外一项研究发现患者在接受了高量果糖的摄入后,身体对胰岛素的敏感度相较摄入葡萄糖组降低了25%。他们因此认为,摄入大量糖分,尤其是果糖,对人体来说是一个重大的健康隐患。
 
那么给我们的信息是什么呢,DiNicolantonio博士认为我们应该从此减少加工食品的食用,因为加工食品中糖分的比例较高,而天然食物中糖类的含量处于自然的水平。"即使食用高糖加工类食品,比如啤酒,会提高患糖尿病的风险,最天然食物,比如水果,蔬菜却不必担心。"Johnson 博士说到。
 
美国心脏学会提倡普通人每天的食用糖量不应超过:女性100卡路里,男性150卡路里。
 
另外,在糖类的食用上也要注意平衡,葡萄糖与果糖的摄入量要保持大致相当。
