Nutrients:大米神经酰胺可有效改善皮肤屏障功能,并可一定程度美白皮肤

神经酰胺在维持皮肤屏障功能方面起着关键作用。尽管前述证据支持外用神经酰胺对恢复皮肤屏障的有益作用,但关于口服神经酰胺的研究却极为稀少,大多数已发表的数据都来自体内和体外模型。近日,发表于Nutrients的一项研究旨在通过全面的临床评估,评估补充大米神经酰胺(RC)对改善皮肤屏障功能和作为脱色素剂的功效。

这项研究在50名自愿参与者中调查了口服RC补充剂的有益影响。在基线和每月的随访中评估了皮肤的水合作用、紧实度和弹性、经表皮失水(TEWL)、黑色素指数(MI)、红斑指数(EI)、皮脂分泌、pH值和皱纹严重程度。

研究发现,在三个评估区域,即左脸颊、颈背和右前臂内侧,补充RC能明显改善皮肤的水合作用、皮脂分泌、紧致度和弹性以及皱纹的严重程度(p < 0.01)。此外,RC显著(p < 0.01)降低了TEWL、MI和EI的水平。对数据的分析表明,年龄较大的参与者对补充RC的效果反应更明显。

综上所述,该研究结果表明,RC补充剂能有效地诱导皮脂和神经酰胺的产生,导致皮肤屏障功能的改善。同时,炎症反应、皱纹严重程度、皮肤紧实度和弹性也有明显的改善。有趣的是,该研究结果还揭示了补充RC对皮肤美白效果的潜在用途。在这项研究中,没有任何不良事件的报告。然而,该研究的一个主要局限性是缺乏安慰剂组对照。因此,在未来的研究中仍需要进行随机对照试验以验证该研究结果。
