欧洲药品管理局授予罗氏RG6042为优先药物用于治疗亨廷顿舞蹈症

罗氏的RG6042是一款靶向编码HTT蛋白的mRNA的反义链的创新疗法。通过与编码HTT蛋白的mRNA结合，RG6042能够降低所有HTT蛋白转译的发生，因此无论编码HTT的基因变异出现在哪里，该药物都可以减少有毒性的mHTT的产生。RG6042很可能成为靶向该疾病潜在病因的第一个治疗药物。
